A big celebration for Oregon students
This May, high school seniors across Oregon shared a truly special moment:
Decision Day 2025! It's our yearly event where we celebrate students making a plan for after high school.

What do you want your future to look like?
Every student's decision deserves a cheer! College means any education or training after high school. This includes community colleges, universities, trade schools, and on-the-job training like apprenticeships – anything that gives you a certificate, license, or degree. Decision Day is a time to celebrate all of these pathways. That's why these decisions were celebrated by so many students across Oregon.

Oregon dreams take flight
Over 107 high schools across Oregon hosted inspiring Decision Day events this year. These celebrations (with assemblies, signing ceremonies, and photo ops) helped students feel proud of their plans. They also inspired younger students to think about their own amazing futures.
This is a team effort! Local educators, families, and community partners worked hard to make these events happen. Their support shows every student that their goals after high school truly matter.

Your path, your pride
Adrienne Enriquez, Director of Oregon GEAR UP, said it best: “This day is about more than just one pathway—it’s about celebrating every student’s unique journey. Whether students are heading to a university, community college, apprenticeship, or the workforce, their commitment deserves recognition.”
