Congratulations! You’ve been accepted to college. Now it’s time to make a decision about which college you will attend. With the uncertainty of today's world, it's more important than ever to think critically before you decide.
Congratulations to the students in the class of 2019 who have made a plan for after high school!
Schools celebrated Decision Day, also known as College Signing Day or Senior Signing Day, across Oregon and across the country to celebrate seniors' postsecondary plans.
Our series of three events, College Application Week, College Cash Campaign and Decision Day, help high schools and community-based organizations support 12th grade students on the path to postsecondary education. Use our Planning Calendar for 12th Grade College Activities to schedule your events.
The start of the school year means it's time to begin planning College Application Week events. For Oregon CAW "headquarters," it means supporting your efforts. One of the ways we do that is by sponsoring an inspirational social media campaign each year.
This year, the theme is #whyichose. As in, "why did you choose to continue your education beyond high school" or "why did you choose the college you attended?" or "why might a student choose a particular college?"
We launched our #whyapply social media campaign just about a week ago, and in that time we've had some great feedback!
