Register your site for statewide events and help Oregon Go To College

High schools and community based organizations are invited to host 12th grade college-going events

The Oregon Goes To College initiatives are designed to increase the number of low-income and first-generation Oregonians who enroll in postsecondary education by supporting students in their college search, application, and matriculation process.

Sign up now to host one, two, or all three events. Then use the planning calendar to coordinate a schedule that will help your seniors apply, pay, and go.

Every site is critical to our goal of increasing college access for low-income students around the state. Sign up by July 30th to secure your place as an official host and to be guaranteed free promotional items. Schools and community based organizations are encouraged to register after the priority deadline; they will have access to all planning resources, but we are unable to provide promotional items such as posters and stickers. Scroll down for the registration form.

Submitting your registration form indicates you have read and agree to the following:

When a school or organization signs up as an official host, they agree to do the following In turn, Oregon GEAR UP provides
designate a site coordinator who will be responsible for leading a team to plan and implement events provide coordinator training and technical support resources (via the website)
participate in coordinator training (available online) statewide press and promotion
host events during the school day or, in the case of community based organizations, during regular operating hours posters and promotional items to be used for giveaways during your event (see above)
invite all of the graduating seniors or GED candidates in the school or program to participate (remember, all events are designed to be inclusive, not exclusive) aggregate data about the events
complete post-event surveys

For community based organizations: if you do not have these figures, please indicate the percentage of students designated as low-income based on the metrics your organization uses. If you do not collect this information, please enter "0."
